Why Commercials Work
Shalom.
I will be in Chicago the next 3-5 days... if I don't update, that's why.
So, I was listening to one of the FreeCreditReport.com commercials the other day. Here is a line from the commercial I saw:
"Should've gone to
freecreditreport.com
I should've seen this coming
at me like an atom bomb"I started to ask myself why every time I saw this specific commercial, I always ended up counting to six for some reason... Seriously... it happens every time.
I thought about it for about an hour. Then it came to me.
Gone - one
to - two
free - three
report - four
I - five
this - sixThose sketchy tricksters!
"Should've one two
threecreditrefour.com
five shoud've seen six coming
at me like an atom bomb!"
They knew exactly what they were doing! They were playing games with my memory. That's why those songs are so catchy! After all, we've been counting since what, before preschool? They just took something familiar to us... and made it sound oddly similar.

Now that I think about it you are right. That commercial always really catches my attention also. Now I know why. :) clever!
I think the song is just really catchy... that's why everyone loves mmmbop
I like to call it "freak read a report dot com."Â
You're crazy....lol
I think you are paranoid-delusional. I would go more indepth as to why I think this, but college was a long time ago and I don't remember what the definition of paranoid-delusional is. And this is why my Counseling degree is worthless. I think I picked the wrong major...
i dont get it.
@crevis05 - No! No one loves mmmbop! its just catchy. Its like the kind of song that makes you want to set your own head on fire just to make it stop.
@DommieGirlLovie - you are a liar... if u dig deep down in your soul, you love mmbop, and you know it
