  • The Community of The Church and the Godhead

I find it incredible, the many ways we have been created in Elohim's image.
Take the trinity as an example.
God, by his very nature is communal. He is three in one. Three persons living as one God.
Likewise, we are many people, living as one family.
This is one of many purposes of Christianity.

The church is a family, and because we are a family, we are one, just as God, though He is three, is one. Community makes us whole. It turns us into a body under the headship of Christ. And as Christ is the head and the fellowship of believers is the body, that makes us one with God as well. Though still unequal as He is the head and we are the body- the body receives its message from the head and acts accordingly. (1 Cor.17-20)

Paul understood this idea completely. He shows our wholeness by community in another spectacular way: The Bride and Groom analogy, as found in Eph. 5:25-27 and 2 Cor. 11:2. And God shows this by direct Revelation to John.
The body of Christ (the ekklesia or church) is His bride and He is the groom. And just as scripture says, "For this reason, a man must leave his father and mother and be united with his wife, and they will become one flesh." So just as a bride and groom are one, we become one, but not equal, with God as the husband leads his wife. Through this, we become complete.

This is why the church must be a tight, loving community... being complete with God, through God, and by God. It is only through this that we can bring heaven to earth. And in order for us to be complete by God, we need to be pure.
Purity comes through the blood of Christ.
The Holy Spirt, then, dwells within us, connecting us to the Father.

When we are connected with the Father, we are made complete. We are whole.
    Simply Beautiful.

@ThePraisedOne - All that that you've listed before #15 are good indications that he is God. It was the whole reason he was killed- blasphemy. The Jews knew that he was claiming to be God, which is why they've tried to stone him many different times before. And- he never denied it... even to the point of death. But I am not looking to debate the issue today

Besides, we don't know what he said that hasn't been recorded. He very well could have said that He was God... It just may have never been recorded. Or possibly, it was, but is long since lost... And if all things were created through Him, then he is not a creation, but the creator.

Ah the God question, So was he, or wasn't he God while on Earth? Emanuel, God with us was one of his names when he was just a suckling babe. So I say he must of been God in a form that we can see and connect with. He was not God the Father however. It is a mystery that continues to confound us even today. It is something that has in the history of the Church split us and merge us over and over again. It is the family squabble by which it seems all families on EARTH have.

Someday, perhaps soon, the answer will become clear as a mountain stream for us, when we have the glorified minds to comprehend.

disagree that nothing can be done about
it. Did our Founding Fathers not break away from the clutches of King
George III in the Revolutionary War? Complacent is the worst thing that
anyone can be. The Jews chose to be that way when Hitler rose to power
and look what happened Millions were led to the slaughter. Dont think
it wont happen again it will. Oddly enough history always has a way of
    repeating itself.

I Think that we can fight back by peacefully not complying with their system which is very extensive.

They want to destroy the earths population and the core of the Family so have as many kids as you can and stay tightly knit.

     Eat
Organic Foods local and fresh and grow your own because they are trying
to kill us with the Bioengineered stuff that causes all kinds of health
problems. Stay away from big brand names like Kraft and brands that are
controlled by big corporations and dont shop at Wal-Mart.

     Write
your Senators, Congressmen, and Government leaders and support Anti-Big
Government legislation. You can accomplish a lot on the state level.

Get an education, or at least educate yourself they want you to be a mindless robot.

I think we can spread the word and tell other people. Make videos to pass out, give lectures, make blogs.

If that doesnt work their is always what our founding fathers did. These are just a few ideas.

@derekwilson24 - Excellent! I never meant that nothing could be done about it. I am just saying that there is so much more to worry about than government. Personally, I refuse to be a part of it. No matter what our government turns out to be, I won't like it. It would do more harm than good to society.

I think that coming back to the original union with God is breathtakingly beautiful.

    The most beautiful human possibility.
