195 for 2012!
Hey everyone. I wanted to turn your attention to my newest blog site, slimmyjimmy2012.xanga.com
The realization that I am getting older and less healthy is coming upon me quickly. When I graduated high school, I weighed 145 lbs, though at the time, I had a slight case of anorexia. Almost 8 years later, here I sit at 245.8 lbs. I’ve gained 100 lbs. in 8 years. Not cool.
So, my new years resolution is to lose 50 lbs. in 2012. I know I can do this, and if you’d like, I’d love your encouragement, so feel free to add me at my new account!
This should come easy to me. I work at the YMCA, so I have a free membership. Getting myself motivated is the kicker. Regardless, I can’t reach my goal without your help, which is why I set up the new account.
Thanks in advance for all your help. You rock!

I was 205 at graduation.
Good luck on your weight loss.
you got this!
Woo!
Just be as dedicated towards the weight loss as you are to your Church. You’re doing this for you, so that you can stay around longer to do the lord’s work, be an inspiration to others, and be healthy!I’m proud of you for taking the first step and setting that goal.
Just remember, that diets don’t work. To make a permenent change in your health you have to live a lifestyle of healthy eating choices, low stress, and regular excercise. But as hard as such a lifestyle is to maintain, it really is worth it.
Good luck and best wishes. Let me know if you need any advice or encouragement, this is kinda what I do for a living.
best of luck with your goal, I know you can pull it off!
Stay dedicated and you’ll easily pass your goal.
I agree with@nidan. It’s a change in lifestyle.
I’m trying to change my lifestyle this year as well in terms of eating and exercising. I recognize I need a drastic change. I almost hit 200 this year and I usually sit at 170. Ideally, I’d be 160. I’m about 30lbs away from that right now. We can encourage each other. I’ll definitely be subscribed to the slimmyjimmy.
Good luck. I support health in all it’s forms
I’m 209, down from 263 this past February. I gained 6 lbs over the holidays, I was at 203 before Christmas. You can go it if you set your mind to it, good luck!! My goal is to get down to my pre-child weight and be at a 100 pound weight loss when it is all said and done
