How About This Instead?
This is a replacement post for the one I was asked, politely, to delete.
I think that some people get the wrong impression of me when they read my Xanga. I don’t expect to look perfect, and I try not to offend anyone when I give my opinions. When you read my blog, what impression do I give you? Don’t be afraid to be honest.

I read the last post, I’m not sure what to think of it – it’s the kind of post where I would just skim, and think this is why I dislike Xanga so much sometimes. While the contents of the post are probably entirely true, I do tend to run very far away from any drama. I have enough of that in real life.
I missed all the fuss, which is just as well, I suspect. I enjoy reading your thoughts and stories – the impression I have of you is that you’re in your early-to mid-twenties (I’m guessing), giving serious study and reflection to both historical theology and to your own spiritual growth – learning to articulate your own beliefs. I’m regularly impressed by the clarity and open-heartedness with which you do that. You don’t proclaim, you offer – and in that offer is a sense of curiosity and acceptance for those whose beliefs differ. This openness doesn’t dilute what you share, rather signals a spiritual maturity which stands out in this internet sea. Your open affection for your wife is also endearing.
What was so bad about your last post?

you have been very patient, your answers aren’t offensive, and you’re kind. but these statements are based off what I seem to get off of xanga. who knows who anybody is in real life
@llamalima - I think you’re cool too. As far as that last post goes, I thought I was doing a good thing, and though it worked to my advantage (traffic wise), it ended up giving me the opposite feedback I was expecting. It wasn’t worth it.

You seem to be mostly genuine in your belief and relationship with Christ. Somethings you share I can’t agree with and reading the same Bible do not see how you could reach such conclusions. Then there are very few things which are essential to Christianity such as it’s peacefully but fully intollerant nature and condemnation of what is sin. Such things as other gods and what is termed detestable.
Other things are vital but probably not in themselves eternal. Such things as macro evolution is incommpatible with a belief in Jesus and if scripture is scripture can not be true. This of course is speaking strictly as a Christian, but there is also much scientific evidence to discredit this lie.
I am perfectly happy on many things to peacefully disagree with you and many writers and thinkers. It is on very few things that I get angry because people claiming Christ tolerate them. I get angry with myself for being cowardly and not upholding the judgement of scripture and I get angry with others because even if they are not saved, which many I suspect are not they are representing the name of Christ
