@maniacsicko - That was one of my thoughts. People long for drama and there is no drama in peace.
he had a kevlar on! He lives!
@jmallory - i thought the question was in the form of what’s depicted in that calvin and hobbes sketch, hehh.. i used to play cops and robbers, tag/you’re it, and “war games” when i was a kid, and if i’m to imagine playing “peace” rather than those “conflicts” games, it would have been a boring game, haha..
if the question is about the real world, i could think of many other reasons.. to the media, war and conflicts are the gold mine.. to some people, more war = more profits.. to some people, war in some other place keep their place “at peace”.. those are some that came to mind..
Girls play peace… it’s called a “tea party,” not to be confused with the TEA Party.
@A_Piano_Tuner - I’ll be sure not to confuse those two… ‘merca!
Because the peaceful, pacifistic states get crushed under the heel of the aggressors. ‘Tis the cruelty of a Darwinian world, I’m afraid.
We have but a limited time to play war, those who would prefer peace will play it later, and they will play it forever.
@TheThinkingPerson - Therein lies the issue. The aggressors. Where is the need to be aggressive?
@MagisterTom - I still plan on playing peace while others are playing war. It’ll show that peace can be fun too!
@A_Piano_Tuner - have you ever been to a girl’s tea party? I think it would be more like a neighbourhood plotting committee.
I wanna play electric orange.
Good question!
I life, I tried to play peace many times… Sometimes it happened. Other times, despite my attempt to “play” peace the other person would not have it so we played war. There was no other way.
Grace and peace!

I love Calvin & Hobbes! How does one play peace exactly? Is this a Make Love Not War type of thing? Because if so, I’m in!
There isn’t a need to be aggressive, but it doesn’t stop people from being aggressive.
We have the idea of peace as a world without conflict. A boring world where no one believes much of anything, but if they do, they care so little about it that they would never fight for it. Peace is the control of that passion, the redirection of it, not the elimination of it
@MC_Shann - From my understanding it only takes one party to play peace.

@JimmyBuffettDied - You can say that, yes.

@Crono09 - Very true.
@trunthepaige - Peace isn’t a lack of conflict, but a way to handle conflict. I think we are saying the same thing, correct?
Because Team Fortress 2 is the most fun you can have online!
@jmallory - Exactly.
