Thanks for answering. Luckily, I have an amazing girlfriend where communication is not an issue. I think it’s partly because we’ve both been in relationships where communication (or lack thereof) was a serious issue, and now we don’t have the patience to put up with that BS again. Being so totally open and honest has made the trust and loyalty parts of it so much easier. As for the faith in God… well, we’re both atheists (well, she’s a Buddhist, but an atheist Buddhist), so I think you’ll understand if I skip that part of the advice.

@GodlessLiberal - Some couples just “get it”. Haha. My wife has a dominant personality and it conflicts with my desire to be more dominant, so that’s where most of the lack of communication comes in. And yes, I understand why you’ll skip that part of my advice
